Crafting life continues
My friend Elizabeth is a talented sewer/sewist and with her help and advice I made this double sided bag in just a couple of hours.
We had also visited the craft show at the SECC me armed with a with a "what not to buy" list.
The numbers were down at the craft show as covid was just starting. There were about 140 cases in Scotland but a lot of the older and more vulnerable attendees had stayed away.
Ironically it meant we had a great day, my friend took in a class and we had plenty of time to browse and buy and chat instead of the normal mad dash to be out of there by lunchtime.Thursday, 7 July 2022
Crafting life
I started crafting again about 2019 after I changed jobs and life settled down.
The Quarantine times in 2020/2021 helped give me much more time and organise my craft space.
It also helped me declutter and decide what I wanted to focus on craftwise.
I'm going to be sharing a bit more often (i've said that before).
To start here is what my craft room looked like before lockdown.

I tried some open storage on hangers and rods so I could see what I had but it quickly became untidy and clunky.
I could see the stuff but had no inspiration to use it.
This storage for my punches seemed to work well and it was great being able to see them all together adn see what worked with what, but in reality took up a whole lot of wall space and didn't work for the new design of punches.
I was doing more work storing my supplies than using them.
Something had to change.

Christmas 2016
I have had these 3 fat quarters of fabric for years but did nothing with them till now. Cut out with my Big Shot,, eyeletted with my cropodile and tied together with yards of mixed Christmas yarn. Got around to hanging it up on the way to bed last night.
